Warmer with scattered storms and showers today – Local News 8

Another hiccup in our plan for sunshine domination, we’ve got a few showers and possible thunderstorms to get through today with highs, still below average, below 68, at 61. 60% chance of showers and storms into the day, beginning along the state line into western Wyoming, mainly park country, then scattered for later with a rumble of thunder, as well. Bear Lake and northern high country northeast of Rexburg. Winds could gust up to 40mph, especially around storms. This sets up the next big game play which is brighter skies and warmer temps, about a 20 degree hike into Thursday and Friday headed toward 70’s and then 80’s and beyond that ! past Memorial Day. Chances of showers/storms present today, then Thursday, then again Saturday, with gradual warmth.
