Is the Dunkalatte Coming Back? Here’s Everything We Know So Far

Missing the days when you could blissfully order a coffee-milk Dunkalatte whenever you please? You’re in good company. If you’re, instead, scratching your head at that phrase — well, you might soon have the chance to taste one for yourself. 

According to snack influencer Markie Devo, Dunkin’’s widely loved Dunkalatte could return to menu boards starting March 5. The limited-edition drink, created with a heavy pour of coffee milk-infused milk and a few espresso shots, debuted at Dunkin’ locations last August before suddenly disappearing amid supply shortages that fall. If Devo is correct, this could be the answer to many Instagram commenters’ pleading requests. 

Devo dropped the details on Instagram last night, crediting an anonymous employee for the intel. Cue hundreds of thrilled commenters — with some already declaring, “Welcome back, Dunkalatte.” Over on Reddit, members of the Dunkin subreddit said the leaked news was “finally… something good in 2025.” 

As for the rest of the menu, Devo speculates that we’re looking at a Pistachio Coffee, a brand-new Ham and Cheese Slider (sandwiched between two King’s Hawaiian pretzel buns), the returning Chicken Bacon Croissant Stuffers, and the Sweet Black Pepper Snackin’ Bacon. (There’s no word on the status of the Sweet Black Pepper Bacon sandwich, but we’ll keep you updated.) Otherwise, Devo predicts that a Cotton Candy Speciality Doughnut and Blueberry Sprinkled Munchkins could drop on April 2. 

Beloved food blogger Devo knows his way around a menu leak (and to give due credit, he’s brought consistently reliable intel on fast food chains’ upcoming launches). He isn’t a completely impartial voice, though — especially when it comes to the Dunkalatte. In an Instagram Reel posted yesterday, Devo gushed about the potential return of the creamy coffee:

While we’re still waiting to hear back from our sources at Dunkin’ HQ, we can share some other confirmed news in the meantime. Earlier this week, Dunkin’ dropped three new drinks (the Vanilla Creme Cold Brew, Toasted White Chocolate Coffee, and Raspberry Watermelon Refresher) alongside a brand-new $6 DunKings meal deal, which hopefully will be enough to tide you over. 

Otherwise, all that’s left to do is wait — and cross our fingers, wish on shooting stars, or anything else that might hasten the beloved Dunkalatte’s return.
