Billie Eilish, Charli XCX and Shakira will perform at the 2025 Grammy Awards, as will several best new artist contenders including Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan.
The Recording Academy also announced that Benson Boone, Doechii, RAYE and Teddy Swims will also perform at the Feb. 2 event. It will air live from the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles and will raise funds to support wildfire relief efforts.
“The upcoming Grammy Awards won’t just be about celebrating and honoring the best in music this year, it will also show how the power of music can help rebuild, uplift and support those in need,” Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason jr says in a statement. “We are thrilled that so many artists in our community are banding together at this time to show support for their fellow music makers and others impacted by the recent wildfires.”
Beyoncé is the leading contender with 11 nominations, followed by Charli XCX and Post Malone, who scored eight each. Charli XCX’s nominations include album and record of the year.
Eilish is up for seven awards including the big three, while Shakira will compete for best Latin pop album. Carpenter and Roan are nominated for the top four awards, and their competition for best new artist — alongside Boone, Doechii, RAYE and Swims — include Shaboozey and Khruangbin.
Following the wildfires in Los Angeles the Academy canceled some of its pre-Grammy events but still are moving forward with its Clive Davis Gala, MusiCares Person of the Year and the Special Merit Awards, and each of those events will now have a fundraising element.
