Eric McCormack Battles Unseen Killer in ‘Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue’ Trailer

Eric McCormack must find an unseen killer from among nine plane crash survivors in the Mexican jungle as, one by one, they face getting killed off in the official trailer for MGM+‘s Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue.

“Let’s all assume the worst of each other, because that’s helpful,” McCormack’s character, Kevin, says sarcastically at one point in the trailer as he and his fellow passengers realize someone wants them all dead.

The MGM+ mystery series, to debut March 2, uses Agatha Christie’s Ten Little Indians trope where 10 strangers gather and start getting killed one by one by a killer who is assumed to be among them.

As the storyline for Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue unfolds in flashbacks, the plane crash survivors race to solve the deadly mystery before they, too, fall victim to the unseen killer. And Mexican soldiers who discovered the plane realize they have 10 passports for the 10 plane passengers, and only nine bodies in a morgue.

“We are missing someone,” one of the soldiers assumes as the search for the identity of the killer and who made it out of the jungle alive builds in suspense and terror. Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue also stars David Ajala, Peter Gadiot, Lydia Wilson and Siobhán McSweeney.

The mystery series is written, created and executive-produced by Anthony Horowitz and is produced by Eleventh Hour Films, a Sony Pictures Television-backed company. The series is directed by Brian O’Malley and Viviane Andereggen, and is produced by Richard Burrell and executive-produced by Jill Green and Eve Gutierrez.

Sony Pictures Television will handle sales for Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue worldwide.
