Dunkin’ Is Officially Bringing Back This Fan-Favorite Viral Drink, Plus a Ton of New Menu Items

The last few brisk mornings of winter are challenging — and while a coffee stop before work may not solve everything, a quick pick-me-up certainly helps. If that’s not enough, one of the country’s leading coffee chains is bringing back an old favorite today.

A company representative tells Food & Wine that the Dunkalatte is back on Dunkin’ menus starting this morning. If you missed it the first time, this delicious innovation is a seasonal espresso latte made with rich coffee milk—an iconic Rhode Island creation that the Boston-based chain describes as “sips like a latte and tastes like a melty milkshake.” 

This drink’s long-awaited return is accompanied by a full roster of seasonal drinks and food, just in time for the first warm days of the season. Allow us to walk you through the rest of the lineup.

Starting today, you can also grab the returning Pistachio Coffee or Raspberry Watermelon Dunkin’ Refresher for your coffee run before work. (The Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso, first introduced in December, will also be available through the spring.) 

For breakfast, you can enjoy the new Ham and Swiss Pretzel Sliders made with King’s Hawaiian slider buns, as well as the Sweet Black Pepper Bacon sandwiches. Additionally, try the Chicken & Bacon Croissant Stuffer, which provides a savory filling for the chain’s classic pastry. 

If you consider yourself one of the diehard Dunkalatte fans eagerly anticipating its arrival, you’re not alone. Earlier this week, Dunkin’ shared some of its Instagram followers’ most unhinged requests for its elusive coffee milk offering — and the responses vary from patient yet persistent to wildly desperate: 

Sure, the Dunkalatte may have stolen the spotlight, but that’s not all Dunkin’ has to offer. As a spokesperson tells us, the limited-run $6 DunKings deal is safe from menu elimination this season. You can still grab a medium hot or iced coffee, a sausage breakfast sandwich, and an order of hashbrowns for even less than a latte at most cafes. It’s unclear if the promo has an expiration date yet, but we’re enjoying the savings for now.
