Dunkin’ Drops a Surprise Spring Menu, Including a New Energy Drink and a Pastel Doughnut



Spring has apparently sprung. While much of the country hasn’t yet experienced the glorious first days of warm spring weather, one coffee chain is looking ahead to sunnier days. 

To celebrate the occasion, Dunkin’ is introducing a surprise selection of spring menu items for your breakfast run. Starting April 2, you can kick off your day with the Arctic Cherry Dunkin’ Energy, a brand-new flavor in the brand’s caffeinated lineup. It’s accompanied by the Spring Munchkins Bucket (a reusable container brimming with the new Blueberry Sprinkle Munchkins) and the Cotton Candy Pastel Doughnut. 

The Massachusetts-based chain launched its seasonal menu in early March, but this latest version includes a few new bites. Currently, the spring beverage menu features the famed Dunkalatte, Pistachio Coffee, Raspberry Watermelon Refresher, and Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso. It’s complemented by several new bites, such as the Ham and Swiss Pretzel Sliders and Chicken and Bacon Croissant Stuffer. 

That’s not all for deals: The chain is asking you to mark your calendar for National Cold Brew Day on April 19 — a new promotion is on the way. Rewards members can earn four times the points on any cold brew order that day, according to the chain, making it easier to earn another free drink. (In the Dunkin’ app, you can redeem 500 points for a free cold brew anytime.)

Leaked versions of this spring menu have been circulating online, with people highlighting the pastel sprinkle doughnut and icy cherry Dunkin’ Energy. “Ummm… yes. That is all I have to say haha,” one Instagram user commented on the leak: 

Dunkin’s spring menu rollout on March 5 included the beloved Dunkalatte, a creamy milkshake-like creation that attracted a dedicated fanbase when it first debuted last year. (The drink’s base is a thick, coffee-infused milk that lends a “melty” quality to the latte.) 

The drink, inspired by an authentic Rhode Island delicacy, was developed by head of beverage culinary innovation Heidi Curry. In 2024, she told Food & Wine that the public’s reaction was overwhelmingly gratifying.

“I’ve read guest comments like, ‘The Dunkalatte made me Dunkasmile,’ and we’ve seen how many people have said they don’t want it to come off the menu,” Curry says. “As a creator, that’s just so rewarding.”

When it comes to sipping a fresh iced coffee on a beautiful spring day, we can’t argue with that.
