Comedian Bert Kreischer’s WWE visit turns violent when he steps into the ring with CM Punk

Comedian Bert Kreischer brought his signature shirtless flair to the wrestling world on Monday night, engaging in a memorable segment with WWE superstar Otis. Known for his unabashed antics in and out of the ring, Kreischer’s appearance added a comedic twist to the night’s events. But what happened after the show went off the air ended up making the biggest impact.

During the night, Kreischer was seen in the audience drinking and chugging beer and in a backstage segment that unfolded when he was being interviewed. The conversation was interrupted by the faction American Made, made up of Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, Chad Gable, and Ivy Nile.

But before things ended up in a fight, the atmosphere grew more animated when the comedic WWE faction Alpha Academy, whose members include Otis, Maxxine Dupri, and Akira Tozawa joined in on the scene to help out. The highlight came as Kreischer and Otis, in a spontaneous display of camaraderie, tore off their shirts to expose their expansive bellies, much to the audience’s delight.

Kreischer’s penchant for performing shirtless has become a hallmark of his comedic persona. This uninhibited approach has not only endeared him to comedy audiences, but also made him a fitting guest in the exuberant world of WWE. But when a WWE show ends, the audience in the arena is usually treated to extra matches or something special so that they go home happy.

While WWE Superstar CM Punk remained in the ring after the main event segment on Monday, the atmosphere shifted when Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, who are the team named A-Town Down Under, targeted CM Punk and tried to take him out, attacking him post-show. Their taunts extended to Kreischer, with Waller threatening to slap the comedian. In response, Kreischer jumped the ringside barrier to confront Waller, once again removing his shirt in trademark fashion.

As the confrontation escalated, CM Punk recovered and delivered his signature Go To Sleep (GTS) move to both Theory and Waller. Seizing the moment, Punk invited Kreischer into the ring, where the comedian executed a chokeslam on Waller, much to the crowd’s delight. The unexpected duo celebrated together, closing out the night on a high note for the live audience.

WWE fan Kreischer was also in the audience to support his Netflix special, “Lucky.”
