Celebrations in Sudan as army retakes key city of Wad Madani from RSF

There were celebrations in several cities in Sudan as news spread that the Sudanese Armed Forces had regained control over the key city of Wad Madani, the capital of Gezira state, forcing out the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitary which had held it for more than a year.
