Exploring Florida’s Space Coast and Tennessee’s Music City just got easier.
Avelo Airlines recently announced new routes from Charlotte, NC to Nashville, TN and Daytona Beach, FL starting on April 3. Best of all, in celebration of the new routes the airline is offering one-way fares starting at just $40, with tickets now available for purchase.
The Nashville route will operate twice weekly on Fridays and Mondays. The 1-hour and 26-minute flight will operate nonstop.
The Daytona Beach, FL route will also operate nonstop on Thursdays and Sundays, making it a perfect weekend getaway. Daytona Beach is home to the Daytona International Speedway and NASCAR’s Daytona 500. The region is also a popular spring break destination.
While many travelers are familiar with Charlotte’s primary airport, Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), Avelo will operate its flights from the nearby Concord-Padgett Regional Airport. The Concord airport is 29.7 miles northeast of the Douglas airport, which is approximately a 34 minute drive. The airport, which has a patriotic airport code of USA, also operates service from low-cost carriers Allegiant Airlines and Sun Country Airlines.
Avelo says the Concord-Padgett Regional Airport has a smaller, hometown feel, compared to the major Douglas airport.
The airline also operates service to Albany (ALB), Boston (MHT), Orlando (LAL), and Rochester (ROC) from the USA airport. All of the routes from USA airport will operate on a Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft.
“USA’s refreshingly small and welcoming hometown airport size makes it a fast, easy and stress-free alternative to the long lines, congestion and frequent flight delays at (CLT),” Avelo shared in a news release.
