Amazon’s Selling a Luxury Villa-inspired Tiny House With 2 Bedrooms and a Front Porch — and It’s Under $10K

As a Gen Z renter, today’s housing market has made becoming a homeowner feel like an out-of-reach dream. That doesn’t mean it’s impossible though — tiny houses have recently offered an alternative route to home ownership. 

We’ve spotted numerous tiny homes at Amazon’s outdoor store, including two-story cabins for cozy camping vibes, and this luxury villa-inspired tiny house that has two bedrooms, a full kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, and a front deck. You can fully personalize it to fit your needs, whether that’s adding another bedroom (or two), or changing the exterior color. And did we mention it’s available for less than $10,000?

Prefab 2-bedroom Modern Luxury Villa Tiny Home

The tiny home’s design takes inspiration from luxury villas, using a wood-patterned exterior that gives off cozy vibes, and an asymmetrical roof with a modern aesthetic. As a container house, it’s an easy build: Just unfold the walls and roof, and secure everything into place. The interior measures 380 square feet and, as we mentioned, includes two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room to decorate to your liking. It also comes with a front deck for that coveted indoor-outdoor living — just imagine sitting outside with your cup of coffee every morning.  

What’s most notable about the design is the fact that you can customize everything, including if you want to expand the size up to 791 square feet. You can also add bedrooms, for a total of up to four, which lets you sleep up to eight people without breaking out the air mattresses. 

Beyond the inside of the home, you even have the power to decide what shape of roof you’d like — you can go with a clean, utilitarian design, or opt for a more modern look with asymmetrical edges. And, if you want to drench the house in natural light, Monica Guo, senior business manager for the brand, says you can even include floor-to-ceiling windows. Simply contact the brand through WhatsApp before purchasing, and they’ll make note of your specifications and upgrades.

Customizations can go beyond the picture you see above, too, according to Guo. You can make a one-of-a-kind design to fit your needs, including transforming it into a two-story home for some added privacy — especially if you want extra space for hosting parties. Guo added that you can change the exterior color of the tiny home for no additional cost, that way you can give the house your own touch of curb appeal. 

All the windows and doors come pre-insulated to save you the work from having to do it yourself. You don’t even have to worry about building cabinets in the kitchen — it’s all included — and, there’s no need to whip out a toolbox in the bathroom either, as it’s pre-installed with a toilet, full-size shower, and sink. As an added bonus, circuit sockets and water pipes are also included, making it move-in ready from the moment you unfold it.

That being said, other upgrades do come at a cost. The price will vary based on the size of the tiny home and additions you choose for the space. A 380-square-foot tiny house starts at $4,800. Outdoor additions like a terrace are around $1,000 extra. After you make your customizations, the brand will design everything for you, and build a ready-to-ship home in up to 15 days.
