Amazon MGM Studios Unveils ‘Vought on Ice’ Fan Activation in Los Angeles to Celebrate ‘The Boys’

In celebration of the hit superhero satire “The Boys,” Amazon MGM Studios has announced an exclusive, two-day fan activation event inspired by Season 4‘s “Vought on Ice.” Taking place on Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8 at Westfield Century City Mall in Los Angeles, this immersive experience invites fans to step into the icy darkness of “The Boys” like never before.

“Vought on Ice” brings to life the series’ outrageous in-universe holiday ice show, featuring Homelander and Jesus Christ himself. The activation will be centered by a live, three-minute ice-skating performance that reimagines the show’s infamous number, “Put the Christ Back in Christmas.” With dazzling choreography, high-energy skating, and synchronized lip-syncing, the piece transforms Vought International’s absurd holiday propaganda into an unforgettable spectacle, while offering a biting take on corporate showmanship and manufactured cheer.

But the fun doesn’t stop at the performance. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take to the ice themselves. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy 40-minute skating sessions, offered hourly, turning the mall into a winter wonderland — regardless of the summer season.

Adding another layer of authenticity, the pop-up activation features costumes worn during “Vought on Ice” in the Season 4 episode, “We’ll Keep the Red Flag Flying Here.” This rare behind-the-scenes look lets fans see the details and craftsmanship behind Vought’s disturbingly cheerful aesthetic.

Following the release of Season 4, IndieWire did a Deep Dive on “The Boys,” speaking with Homelander’s Antony Starr about crafting his one-of-a-kind superhero/villain.

“His humanity has always been his kryptonite. As much as he wants to be a god, he’s always been aware that he’s human,” Starr told IndieWire. “That mortality being on display and the sense of legacy really drives all of what he does through the whole season.”

Season 5 of “The Boys” is currently in production, with release likely to come in 2026. It will be the final season of the show, tying up all the loose threads that remain between Butcher, Homelander, Hughie, and the world-at-large. But if you’re looking for your fix now, look no further than “Vought on Ice.”
