St. Barts’ iconic Hotel Christopher, known among frequent visitors for offering the best sunset views on the island, just debuted a $8,300-a-night villa with five bedrooms overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The brand-new Villa Saba is one of the most secluded stays on the island—and the only accommodation on the south side of Hotel Christopher.

Villa Saba has a breathtaking, 52-foot-long pool gazing out at the Caribbean Sea and is built into a lush, flora-covered hillside. It has a massive teak deck lined with lounge chairs; five bedrooms painted a crisp white with pops of Hèrmes-inspired orange, with en-suite bathrooms and high ceilings; and multiple indoor-outdoor common areas.

St. Barts is one of the luxury hotel capitals of the Caribbean, known for Hotel Christopher, which is still family owned after 31 years on the island; Eden Rock St. Barths, now part of Oetker Collection; and Cheval Blanc St-Barth, among others. The top luxury resorts on St. Barts are prioritizing standalone villas to accommodate large groups who want the privacy and size of a vacation rental, with access to all the amenities a hotel offers. (And a number of Caribbean hotels are following suit, like Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort on St. Lucia, which just opened an over-the-top, 35,000-square-foot villa.)

Guests at Hotel Christopher’s newest addition, Villa Saba, have access to the hotel’s two restaurants, five-cabin Spa Sisley, and the main pool overlooking the beach. When guests aren’t dining at La Plage de Chris and Le Christopher Coutanceau restaurants, both with menus spotlighting the island’s fresh seafood, they can have meals prepared by a private chef in the new villa. Travelers can also work with a villa manager to book services like private massages and yoga classes.
Villa Saba is Hotel Christopher’s fourth standalone villa rental. You can book any of these ultra-private stays at hotelchristopher.com.
