Fashion watches fall into one of fashion’s top themes of 2025: self expression. “There is a shift towards expressive watches, including bold faces, vintage styles, and classic styles, but in a smaller silhouette,” says Dianne Boyer, a certified personal stylist and founder of Dianne In Style. “Warm weather and bare arms create the perfect opportunity to add a fashion watch to your jewelry collection.”

Can’t decide between going fancy or keeping it casual? This season, you really don’t have to. “I love the juxtaposition of styles and trends this summer—it’s all about contrast.” says Hannah Swenson, a personal stylist and eyebobs collaborator. “Picture frilly scrunchies worn with ties or lace tights, and flowy maxi skirts paired with baseball caps.” Also consider fusing elements of feminine with masculine details, like a dainty necklace or charm bracelets with chunky loafers.
Toi et Moi Rings

The Toi et Moi (“you and me”) ring gained popularity in the early 19th century and is a favorite for telling love stories since it symbolizes two people joining together. While the look became dated for a while, it’s since made a serious comeback and is one of summer 2025’s favorite add-ons.
“Inspired by icons like Hailey Bieber, these rings are intimate, personal, and endlessly wearable,” says Cristina Gad, jewelry designer and founder of Slate & Tell. “Try wearing it on your index or middle finger with a slim band to balance the look, and choose stones that reflect your story.”

From dangling charms on your go-handbag to decorate charms on your loafers to full-blown charm bracelets straight out of the ‘00s, you can’t go anywhere without seeing these playful accents. Think talismans, initials, birthstones, and sentimental designs—each piece weaving in some personalization and whimsy. Whether clipped onto a necklace, a belt loop, or even woven into braids, these tiny details pack big personality.
Preppy Pearls
Pearl jewelry has officially shed its strictly formal reputation and stepped into the spotlight as a versatile, everyday essential. “No longer reserved for special occasions, preppy pearls are being reimagined in fresh, modern ways, adding polish to everything from casual denim to sharp tailoring,” says Meagan Kurtz, owner and designer at ADMK Jewelry. Layer pearl strands with mixed-metal chains for a cool, contemporary contrast, or opt for baroque shapes to add texture and visual interest.
Nautical Vibes
The nautical trend isn’t just about footwear and clothing; it’s expanded into accessories and even handbags. And when you play with this trend through accessories, Boyer says it allows you to easily dial the nautical vibes up or down depending on your preferences. (Maybe you go full-sail for that coastal vacay while your office fits are more reserved.)
“Fisherman handbags are another extension of the nautical trend, but with a more narrow focus on fisherman styles, similar to the trending fisherman sweaters and sandals,” says Boyer. “Their open weave and slouchy shape give them a casual look. Because of that, they are best paired with jeans, shorts, or even a T-shirt dress.”

This summer, white and pale pastel sunglass frames are trending, especially in oversized and chunky styles, Swenson says. “From dreamy pale lilacs to clean, futuristic whites, these frames feel light, airy, and undeniably cool,” Swenson adds. “The trend is coming from our love of all things throwback; these frames are channeling the ‘80s and ‘90s for sure.”

The western trend that dominated stylemakers at festivals like Coachella is expected to hold strong as we venture deeper into summer. “Big belts with statement hardware are cinching everything from flowy dresses to denim shorts, while fringe is adding movement and drama to jackets, bags, and skirts,” Swenson tells us. “Summer cowboy hats in straw or raffia top it all off, bringing a playful and on-trend finish to any outfit.”

Colorful birthstones are back in a big way, and we love that these pieces blend sentimentality with a delicate (and sparkling) burst of color style. “Birthstone rings are perfect for layering with stackable bands, or as pinky rings for a delicate touch,” Gad says. “You can also create a personalized birthstone charm cluster, then mix and match pendant lengths for a layered, meaningful look.”
