As a coffee devotee, I’ve tried my fair share of reusable travel mugs over the years, but this one is by far the best. You probably know Owala for its fun-colored water bottles, but its sleek travel mugs are equally worth the hype. Owala’s SmoothSip tumbler features a splash-resistant lid and double-wall insulation, keeping hot drinks hot for 6 hours and cold for up to 24 hours. I fill it with hot coffee every morning on my way to the office and by lunchtime if I haven’t finished it, I’m always surprised to find it still very warm.
My favorite feature, though, is its completely leakproof lid. When closed, I can comfortably toss it in my tote bag without any worry of it spilling all over my laptop. I even give it a good shake to mix my coffee and milk together and there are never any leaks in sight. My only con is that the brand recommends you hand wash the tumbler to keep its exterior in good condition (but truthfully, I’ve tossed it in the dishwasher a few times and it has held up just fine.)
